Sparkly Dogs
Mixed media sparkly metalic wrapping paper with acrylic on board
I am a fine art painter/illustrator, I have created this blog to share my latest work and the events I am involved in. I am interested in the liminal magical spaces and states between the land and the sea, in mysterious anonymous presences, and within nostalgia and memory.

E.P. Cover Commission
New Work
Hallo I am a fine art painter/illustrator who specialises in work to do with the sea. I have also taken commissions for a diverse range of projects including album covers and portraiture.
My Paintings have a poetic quality, referencing the painters of the 19th century romantic period. I am intereted in memory and nostalgia; I often use anonymous found photographs which I invest with new meaning and identity through portaying them in new suroundings.
Here is a painting I did on a recent trip to Paris. I was staying on a boat there, The Antipode, it has a bar and a theatre and a restaurant. It's a great place, go and visit if you are ever in Paris. The crew there commissioned this painting to use on their publicity, and they were really pleased with it.
